ATHLETICS

The philosophy of Laurens Academy Athletics is built upon the foundation of Laurens Academy’s mission and value statements. Competitive athletics utilizes sports as a way for scholar athletes to further learn discipline, integrity, work ethic, sportsmanship, respect and achievement. Scholar athletes are first and foremost students. Academic achievement and personal health will never be compromised for the purpose of athletic competition. We have a successful and competitive athletic program that competes in the SCISA 1A division and offer the following sports:

  • Middle School Football

  • Middle School Cheer

  • Middle School Volleyball

  • Middle School Boys Basketball

  • Middle School Girls Basketball

  • Middle School Softball

  • Middle School Baseball

  • Varsity Football

  • Varsity Cheer

  • Varsity Volleyball

  • Varsity Boys Basketball

  • Varsity Girls Basketball

  • Varsity Softball

Students may begin participating on middle school athletic teams in the 6th grade and varsity athletic teams in the 9th grade. Summer sports camps are available for younger students.
