Students Enjoy Visit From Author

LA K4-2nd grade students enjoyed a visit from the author of The Very Green Banana, Bathsheba Floyd. The students found Mrs. Floyd’s book delightful and insightful. Thanksgiving Pow-Wow

As a culmination of their study of the first Thanksgiving, K4 and K5 students participated in the annual Kindergarten pow-wow. Students dressed as native americans and pilgrims, and took part in a rustic Thanksgiving feast.

Dissecting Gummies

As part of their study of vertebrates and invertebrates, third graders dissected gummy worms. Students learned how to use and label scientific diagrams and follow a simple version of the scientific method.
